Speaking during the meeting in the capital, the leaders of agitating parties univocally reiterated their commitment to rejuvenate their protest programs. The leaders also agreed to give continuity to their decisive protest programs unlike patchy protests of previous days. The leaders handed over the responsibility of giving shape to protest programs framework to the task force in todays meeting. Speaking to journalists after the meeting, NCP UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal said the movement against regression would be broadened to strengthen their current campaign. Nepali Congress Spokesperson Arjun Narshing KC told that the five parties agitation is in process. The leaders also criticized King Gyanendras Nepalgunj speech and Western Regional Conference of Raj Parishad. Though the five political parties including Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, Nepal Workers and Peasants Party, Nepal Sadhvawana Party (Anandevi) and Peoples Front Nepal had announced a series of protest programs against the Royal takeover of October 4, the movement has remained ineffective.
