Re: Let's make Nepal Tourism Year 2011 a big success !

Dear Nepali, its very informative to read your message, but I think some arguments are crazy, now we have about 500 000 tourists in the year, your government seeks to have in the NTY 2011 1 million tourists. This is impossible and we have alone the reason that we have now in this normal time not enough flihts from Germany and Europe to Nepal, earlier we have had Austrian Airlines, Martin Air, Condor, Bangladesh Biman Airlines and Royal Nepal Airlines, all this carrier have endet the flights to Nepal Only Qatar, Gulf and Etihad have flights to Kathmandu from Germany and other like terrible Air India and Thai Airlines via Delhi and Bangkok, all this flights are in the season in October to December extremly expensive, just to the corruption desaster of Royal Nepal Airlines in 2004 this Airline has had 3 flights the week from Frankfort to KTM, now Nepal Airlines has only 2 very old Boeings only to Delhi, Dacca, Bangkok. This 2 Boeing are always in repair.
If the government of Nepal will not invest in good capacity of flights with new Boeing or Airbus your country will have no chance the have more trekkers, climbers and normal tourists in your country. Your government must see the reality and not dreams. Espacially the Germans will help Nepal, butI see that the NTY 2011 will bea big joke.
