Re: Mobiltelefon, simkarte |
I don't know whether they have already started to sell the Namaste card from International Airport in Kathmandu; according to the news posted here, Nepal Telecommunication was planning to open a sales counter. Better you can ask in Airport if it is already started. The rates mentioned are true to my knowledge.
Otherwise buying a Namaste card is difficult than buying Mero Mobile card, you have to go to the telecom branch offices. In and around Kathmandu you can reach the followings: 1. Naxal Telecom Office, Naxal 1 and 4 are near Thamel. On the other hand Mero Mobile is available everywhere, even in a photocopy shop. Normally they put board or notice on printed paper on their shops mentioning "SIM card on sale here". The cost of Mero mobile SIM card should be around 500 Rs or little more (with 100 Rs calling value). SMS: Oh it looks like, I am answering as a marketing guy!
