Thank you for you valuable querries.Government of Nepal have recently proposed TRC system. Now we are planning how to implement it.
It is understood that those who register in KTM, can go to trek by their own. They will not forced to pay for official guide.It depends upon the tourist.

So wie es aussieht muss man halt 5 - 10 US$ zusaetzlich fuer die Registrierung loehnen, und das wars dann!
